- Korg i30 All Arrangements / Arrangement
- ----------------------------------------------------
-
- * All Arrangements - loads and stores all
- of the arrangements in the i30
-
- * Arrangement - load and stores the current
- arrangement selected in the i30
-
- * there are no editors for this data
-
-
- * IMPORTANT! Many of the i30 SysX dumps
- will only transmit if the "Flter, MIDI" page
- is selected in the Global area. You must
- do this manually, there is no way for
- Midi Quest to automate it.
-
- * IMPORTANT! The i30 features a poor
- SysX implementation. For all dumps
- except individual "Patch" and "Drums"
- transmissions, the i30 must be placed
- in a special receive mode. To enter
- this receive mode, please:
- - Press the Global button
- - Press the MENU button
- - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
- - Press the menu select button in the
- upper right corner of the screen
- - in the menu, choose "Receive Dumped
- Data"
- - start the dump from Midi Quest
-
- * IMPORTANT! As a result of the above,
- you can not send a Group as a single
- dump. You must set up and send each
- type of data separately. Again this applies
- go all data types except Patch and Drums.
- For example, if you are editing a Song,
- make all of the necessary edits, follow the
- above proceedure to place the i30 in
- receive dump mode and then manually
- send the data from Midi Quest. Our
- apologies, there is no way around this!
- (The above applies to multiple i30 entries
- in a DBase as well)
-
- * TURN ON SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE
- The i30 ships with SysX disabled.
- To turn it on:
- - Press the Global button
- - Press the Menu button
- - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
- - Ensure "Enable Exclusive" is checked
-
- * Match the software's Comm Ch to the
- instrument's Global MIDI Channel
- - Press the Global button
- - Press the Menu button
- - Choose the "Filter, MIDI" page
- - Verify that the software's CommCh and
- the instrument's Global channel are the
- same
